Founding Father of OEA/BPA Celebrates 100th Birthday

John "Jack" Adams was one of the founding fathers of the Office Education Association (OEA) which later became the organization that we know as Business Professionals of America. He served as our first Executive Director and on the National Board of Trustees. He was also the business coordinator for Chicago Public Schools for many years and has a passion for educating young people. He loved OEA and the opportunities that it created and continues to support BPA as a lifetime alumni member. He will be turning 100 on March 7th and we would like to send him some birthday love and share the impact that OEA/BPA has made on all of us.

We are planning some activities at the State Leadership Conference but if you would like to send your own birthday wishes, you can mail them to: John "Jack" Adams 4133 W. 100 St. Oak Lawn, IL 60453-3569 Feel free to bring some birthday cards to share so we can shower him with birthday wishes from our chapters across Texas. We will be sending him a Texas care package and including our cards and letters. He is one of the reasons we are all together and we are happy to celebrate this milestone with him.

Happy Birthday, Jack! Texas BPA loves you!
